This garage entered art studio was formerly under-house storage and the artist/owner wanted it transformed into a practical and comfortable working space. I was asked to do the design work, color and material selection. Francisco Hernandez did the excellent construction work. The only original remnant is the black beam and perforated acoustic tile ceiling. Windows and doors were created to add more natural light. A cork wall was erected so she could pin her ideas and inspirations up. The Armstrong tile floor adds a cheerful touch and the original entry door became her working surface!
