70′s modern in La Jolla

Just a little finessing made a huge difference in the look and feel of an angular 1970′s modern living and dining space. The owner called me in as she felt as she could use help putting it all together. Just a couple hours is all it took.  All walls were off-white and the rooms needed some contrast. I suggested a couple of well-chosen accent walls painted in soothing greens to blend with the beautiful view across the park to the bay.  The owner had many framed family heirloom paintings and prints which needed to be hung.  We chose a key wall in the dining area to paint and hang many of them along with a mirror which the diners sitting with their back to the view could see it! I played with the furniture, lighting and objects and made a more pleasant arrangement. The whole package works much better now!
