VINTAGE: En suite with the listed dining set, this chair sat at the end of the table as the “Captain’s” chair. Designed by Martin Borenstein for Brown Saltman of California. It is solid walnut with a pivoting backrest. Very deconstroctivist! (is that a word?) $895.-

VINTAGE: The matching dining table and benches to the sideboard unit in Boomerang’s “Storage” section. Amazing, quirky and rare dining set for California’s Brown Saltman designed by Martin Borenstein in the mid fifties. Materials are solid walnut and melamine laminate in excellent un-refinished condition. Really versatile. The table measures 41″ wide and 50″ long without leaves. Each of the two leaves adds 15″ to the length. The two benches have two sliding outer cushions and a third which can be added between them to seat two or three people. $3,250.-for the set.

VINTAGE: Another from the latest estate. A crazy exciting Danish bar unit in teak with tambor sliding doors that expose an etched mirrored interior with black glass bottom and a contoured glass shelf. On the left side are two delicate drawers and a teak shelf. There are also two pull out melamine faced mixing surfaces. The unit is electrified to come on when the doors are opened. This system still has its European wiring and would need to be converted to US. It measures 48″ long and 45″ high. $2.775.-

It is completely interchangeable and has seven shelves, one writing surface a three drawer unit and a two door locking cabinet with adjustable shelf inside. VINTAGE: One of several newly acquired items from a classy estate. All Danish and purchased in Denmark in the early sixties. This dramatic Rosengren Hansen design unit for Brande Møbelindustri measures 82″ in length and has four sliding doors to expose four adjustable shelves and five drawers. The pulls are really beautiful and sculptural and the teak is rich and in perfect condition. $3,250.-

VINTAGE: Killer unit from a quirky estate by Martin Borenstein for Brown Saltman of California circa mid-fifties. This was a modular unit that could be modified and expanded or contracted by means of sliding walnut connectors. The materials are walnut, glass and laminate. The sliding doors on the bottom unit are reversible with white on the other side. It measures 7′ long and 20″ deep. $2,995.-

VINTAGE: Super rare from the estate of a scholarly, creative and free thinking woman. She had wonderful, quality and unique things that she surrounded herself with for many years. This is a custom sofa by painter and occasional furniture maker Millard Sheets! It is 100 inches long and solid as a rock. The upholstery is new and appropriate. It is a tweedy moss and charcoal mix. The sides, lower front and legs are oiled teak. Just beautiful and comfortable. With the back cushions removed it becomes a single sleeper in emergencies. $3,750.-
