Palm Springs MCM
This 1957 Palm Springs home designed by A. Belden Crist was in decent, intact but tired condition and with a few touches, came alive. Basically surface finishes and some light construction in the kitchen and patio area were what was needed. The kitchen had original cabinetry but drawers stuck and nothing closed right. We decided to rebuild it as it was originally designed but with all new, custom walnut cabinetry and slate flooring. The covered patio had been extended by a previous owner and blocked the glorious mountain views. We peeled the roof back 6 feet and the resulting extended beams were turned into Neutra-esque spider legs. The architect's signature fireplace was re-faced with birch and the hearth clad in slate and a large window was added. See this article inPalm Springs Life magazine!
Car Collector's Lair
This was a fun project for me as it involves two of my favorite passions...architecture/design and cars. This is the subterranean lair of a San Diego architect and car collector. I was asked to consult on the furnishings, lighting and arrangements.
Jonathan Segal's latest project, Park&Polk is nearing completion and I was asked to furnish and style a model unit on the fourth floor. Great views and exciting architecture in concrete and glass!
Pierre Koenig's Case Study House #22, Los Angeles
A very special day at Case Study house # 22 for a photo shoot for Echoes magazine. Both owners, Carlota and Buck Stahl were there as well as the architect Piere Koenig! Furnishings and styling by Bfm!

1940's Mission Hills Home and Art Studio

Regents MRI Office
Very trusting doctor clients had me design and furnish their new MRI imaging center in La Jolla. Rather unconventional for a medical office but met with lots of positive comment from patients and workers!
La Jolla 1970's Modern
The owners of this home were struggling with how to arrange their furnishings and art...along with alowing me to suggest some feature wall colors.
1960's Rancho Santa Fe Ranch
A very rewarding project where the clients let me run with my ideas.
Las Vegas Pop
My first project...circa 1968! My lime green bedroom/sitting room in Las Vegas. I certainly couldn't have been like every other kid in my class!
